How It Works:
The Adaptil Collar works by mimicking the natural appeasing pheromone produced by lactating dogs, which comforts their puppies. This synthetic analogue provides a familiar sense of security, helping dogs cope with stress. The collar is activated by your dog’s body temperature, releasing the pheromones consistently. It is important to ensure that the collar stays in close contact with your dog's skin to maintain its effectiveness. While the collar may temporarily stop working when wet, it resumes diffusion once dry.
Ingredients:
Active Constituent: 50g/kg Synthetic Analogue of the Canine Appeasing Pheromone.
Usage Instructions:
- Ensure the collar fits snugly around your dog's neck, with enough space for two fingers.
- Adjust the collar regularly as puppies grow to avoid tightness.
- Replace the collar every 4 weeks or as needed.
- Do not use on dogs with extensive skin lesions, and avoid using the collar for leash attachment.
- Always keep the collar in contact with the skin, and do not open the protective pouch until ready for use.
Available Sizes:
- Puppy/Small Dogs: Fits necks up to 37.5 cm.
- Medium/Large Dogs: Fits necks up to 62.5 cm.
