How It Works
NexGard contains afoxolaner, an advanced ingredient that’s quickly absorbed into your dog’s bloodstream after ingestion. It starts killing fleas within hours and continues to eliminate fleas, ticks, and mites for a full month. Usage Instructions:

Flea free dogs
Most flea killers are efficient but as they are "spot-on" varieties they are next to useless to me. Two of my four dogs are allergic to fleas and all the "spot-on"s do is kill fleas and not the flea waste which causes the skin irritation. To completely protect my dogs from their allergy I first have to kill the fleas and then give my dogs a bath in a mild shampoo on alternative days for about a week thus ensuring the removal of all flea waste, including their spittle. As far as I am aware there is only one flea killer that kills fleas AND allows me to bath my dogs is NEXGARD.
